I chose this quote thinking about the Women’s March this past weekend, the battle for reproductive rights and sexism in general. I wasn’t able to make it to the march this year but I am definitely considering it for next year.
As if being a woman of color doesn’t already come with enough bullshit, I also face a lot of criticism for not wanting children. I may write about this later to go into more detail but the bottom line is we shouldn’t still be fighting for basic human rights and it makes my blood boil that we are.
