January Book Haul | 2018

I have a lot more books than I usually do for book hauls because my mom got me a $50 gift card to B&N for my birthday and then the boyfriend got me one (for the 3rd time) for $25.

Barnes & Noble:

  • Dorothy Must Die (Dorothy Must Die #1) by Danielle Paige

  • Legal Tender (Rosato & Associates #2) by Lisa Scottoline
  • Rough Justice (Rosato & Associates #3)

  • The Surgeon (Rizzoli & Isles #1) by Tess Gerritsen
  • The Apprentice (Rizzoli & Isles #2)
  • The Sinner (Rizzoli & Isles #3)
  • Body Double (Rizzoli & Isles #4)

I’ve had my eye on Dorothy Must Die for a while so I’m going to start buying those to read in 2019. Rosato and Associates is somewhat a long series so I’m kind of just building up the series when I can until I decide to read it. I recently finished the Rizzoli & Isles TV series and I loved it. We all know that the books are always better though so I have to read it!

  • Good Men (Cannie Shapiro #0.5) by Jennifer Weiner – ebook
  • Jared’s Quest (An Unfortunate Fairy Tale #1.5) by Chanda Hahn – ebook
  • Six Earlier Days (Every Day #0.5) by David Levithan – ebook

All of these are novellas that accompany books/series that I already own or very recently bought. The first was free, the second was $0.99 and third was $1.99…..my kind of prices.

2nd & Charles:

  • 10th Anniversary (Women’s Murder Club #10) by James Patterson

  • Every Day (Every Day #1) by David Levithan
  • Another Day (Every Day #2)

This was my first time ever at 2nd & Charles and I am obsessed.  I’ve already read Every Day but I found out about the movie so it’s only right that I read it again. Plus I never read the sequel and I am anxiously awaiting the conclusion which should be published sometime this year!

Last Word Book Shop:

  • 11th Hour (Women’s Murder Club #11) by James Patterson

Stumbled upon this little gem while visiting one of my favorite restaurants (If you’re in Philly you should go to Greek Lady because everything they make is delicious from the gyros to the burgers).

I’ve been building up this series for awhile now. Buying parts of it on sale for only like $2! And I must say that I am lucky to have found most of them for such a low price because these books are almost $30 a pop. I mean I know its James Patterson AND I’ve only been buying the hardcovers but damn!

So there it is, my January book haul. Have you bought any books lately? Let me know!

I haven’t really been buying books lately, I’ve been focusing on reading what I have and borrowing new releases from the library.
