In case anyone needs a reminder or is new to the Bookmark Chronicles, here are the rules: Every Monday I will post a This or That Challenge where we will choose between two characters or scenarios. On Friday we will see which scenario/character wins. Feel free to either comment your choice below or make your own post and link it back here!
By no means do you have to feel obligated to do every single challenge, but I would love to hear all of your opinions! If you can only really talk about one scenario then go for it. Also, if you have any suggestions or would like to write a guest post about any of the This or That? topics let me know!
Have you ever used BookTube? If so, do you have any favorite BookTubers?
If you don’t know what BookTube is, some people have video blogs on Youtube where they post videos of their book reviews and stuff. Many of them also have standard blogs
I have looked at a few BookTubers but never really got into it. Of course, I am willing to try so I’m writing this post sort of hoping that someone can give me a recommendation that could possibly get me interested in it because right now I’m just not.
What about you? If you have favorites, or if you have your own BookTube Channel please leave a link in the comments below!

I had never even heard of it til this post.

No, I had never heard of BookTube. I don’t know that I would utilize it, and not because there’s anything wrong with it, I’m just afraid of people giving too much information away. I’m one of those people who really enjoy suspense. So I like to know the gist of what the book is about, but other than that, I like to be surprised!

I’ve heard of BookTube and have seen a few BookTuber videos here and there, but it’s nothing that I’ve really found myself drawn to. My main utility for YouTube is to stream the Hamilton soundtrack ad nauseum and to watch nail tutorials, hahaha. I can certainly respect the community, though, because sitting down to write blogs isn’t for everyone!

OMG I love Hamilton too!!! 😀
Did you see the PBS documentary “Hamilton’s America” that aired this past week? I DVR’d it, but I haven’t watched it yet.

Hamilton is literally my lifeblood, hahaha. A friend of mine posted it on Facebook and I watched it there. I CRIED SO HARD.

Was it great? Wait, don’t tell me. I want to savor every single second… when I have the chance to watch it, that is. 🙂
Have you seen the play?? If you have, I’m not sure whether to be jealous or your best friend. I’ll never be able to go see it myself unless I sell my car. LOL

I’ve never used it because I have no clue how to edit videos and all that lol and I don’t really have any favorites, I’ll occasionally watch some videos if I’m bored but it’s usually whoever has a link in their IG bio

I’d never heard of BookTube until I read this post. To be honest, I’d prefer reading book reviews to watching them. I can’t say why, but I feel it’s true.

I’ve never heard of it either. Are there are any other recommendations? I’m really interested in this idea. I prefer to read books, but new media is exciting (even if only briefly :P)

Other recommendations include: Tashapolis, PadfoorandProngs07, readby zoe, Kellys BookSpill, Hails Heart nyc, and readlikewildfire. I think I’m going to check some of these out too!
