Officially halfway through the program!
Workout Structure:
- Monday – lower body strength training
- this came with an “extra credit” HIIT routine that really kicked my butt
- Tuesday – upper body & cardio
- Wednesday – HIIT
- in the past four weeks I have never sweat this much
- Thursday – upper body (no equipment)
- I love these because you can really kick your own butt without equipment
- Friday – HIIT & lower body strength training
- incredibly sweaty
- Saturday – stretches for the lower back
New things tried this week:
- Ben & Jerry’s Vegan Ice Cream
So, my trial month of the Paleo diet is over. I did like it and I think that it is something that I would eventually be able to stick to but I don’t want to go all in just yet.

Congratulations on keeping this up!

No problem! I need to be motivated like that.

I’ll be honest, sometimes I really don’t want to lol but I really do like the program and I always feel good afterwards 🙂

Do you go somewhere for it? It’s been suggested that I do physical therapy for my anxiety. I’m physically fine, but my anxiety has a way of making me feel otherwise.

Nope, I workout at home because I hate the gym. Especially when it’s crowded

See I get that! I just think it’s hard for me to push myself…which sucks! 😦
Then there’s the ‘time of the month’ issue. My therapist is always saying I still have to exercise during that time, which I get, but we both know it’s not that easy. Plus, he’s a guy and I don’t think he fully gets it.

What if you did a beginner class? Like yoga or kickboxing or would the amount of people affect your anxiety?
I totally understand. I get really bad cramps so I still force myself to workout still but if I have to I just do low impact with no jumping

That’s not a bad idea. I don’t hate the physical therapy idea but I have insurance issues to worry about. I think it’s best I try stuff around people that could help if my anxiety starts to kick in.
Yeah, my therapist is always like, “I have a daughter so I understand the time of the month”. Like, it’s not quite the same as actually being a woman!

My university used to host yoga and stuff for cheap instead of having to pay a lot at an actual studio. Or maybe local gyms?
Yeah that’s definitely NOT the same! Like, no you don’t get it at all

Thanks.
I KNOW! Every time he says that, I just feel like rolling my eyes!

Also, I am most motivated when I workout with a friend at home. Could that work? I think it’s having someone there that makes me feel like I have to push through

That might help. My dad said he might do some exercising too so we can both reap the benefits!
