Hey friends,
So I’m the kind of person that tries to make a yearly TBR and this year I had the Throne of Glass series set for later this year. I just found out that the finale to the series is being pushed back and the series will be extended. I only read a series when it is complete to cut out all of the waiting and such so now I need something to take the place of Throne of Glass.
If you have any suggestions for a series to read in its place please give me some recommendations. The ones that I have on my list for this year include:
- Crooked Kingdom (2)
- Miss Peregrine
- The Devil Wears Prada (2)
- The Wrath and the Dawn
- Robert Langdon (The Da Vinci Code)
- Matched
- Lunar Chronicles
- Me Before You (2)
And I’m on the last of The Mortal Instruments. So please let me know if you have suggestions for series that have already been completed. It would be much appreciated!

Omg omg The Wrath and the Dawn and Six of Crows+Crooked Kingdom are the absolute BESTTTT. Aside from that, I’d also recommend Red Rising trilogy if you like fantasy and sci-fi!

Have you read the Shatter Me series? There’s also Mara Dyer, The Selection, The Maze Runner, The 5th Wave and The Firebird series. Best of luck!!

On the DL, I’m actually interested in giving the Twilight series a revisit; it’s been like 10 years since I last read any of the books and I might as well. Maybe you could do that?

I’m not sure that I could do it. I rewatched the movies last summer and they were laughably horrible lol I don’t think I could reread it. Then again, let me know what you think the second time around and maybe I’ll change my mind!

I just started the Delirium series and it’s pretty great! I just read the first book of the ACOTAR series and it’s really good.
If you like The Mortal Instruments, do read the other books in the Shadowhunter Chronicles. Cassie’s writing is amazing!

Ooh maybe I’ll read Delirium, I’ve heard good things about that! I have already read Infernal Devices and I really want to read Lady Midnight but I know there’s two more books coming so I’ll probably wait…
