One More Reason To Love Hamilton and Its Cast!

Love this so much. Funny thing is, now Trump is demanding an apology and claiming that the theater should be a safe space….but what about all the people that he’s insulted and made feel unsafe…?

Last night Vice President-Elect Mike Pence decided to see the phenomenal Broadway musical Hamilton. Having been told he’d be attending ahead of time, Brandon Victor Dixon who plays Aaron Burr, read from a prepared statement on behalf of the cast after the curtain call and pleaded for Pence to listen. Unsurprisingly Trump tweeted twice this morning accusing the cast of being hostile and harassing, and demanding an apology. I personally think it was a beautiful and eloquent statement that simply addressed the concerns and fears of millions of anxious Americans. I’ll let you decide though.
