This or That? #50 (Conclusion)

Hey all,

This week we talked about whether it was worse to have a book returned damaged, or not returned at all. This was a close one, 57% said that the damage would be worse. While some said that the damage would have to be extensive for it to upset them, some said that even the smallest bit of damage – such as dog ears – were completely unacceptable. On the other hand, many people admitted that they don’t lend out their books enough for them to not be returned, so they couldn’t imagine it happening. Overall, I think many of us agree that damaged would have to be explained and most likely compensated with a copy of the book in good condition.

As always, thank you to these lovely ladies for participating: Samantha @ Surrounded by Books, Bambi Quim @ Bambiquimerotica, Lauren @ Lolsy’s Library and Lindsey @ A Piece of Paradis. Make sure you check out all of their posts this week.

That’s all for now, see you Monday.

  1. I don’t know if I weighed in on this, but I think it would be worse not to get it back at all. I think it’s so rude when people don’t return stuff!

Well, most of my books are tatty anyway! Much worse is books that aren’t returned, which has happened to me in the past.
