Hello! As many of you know, I have dedicated this past month to rereading all of the HP books and watching the movies. I’m really glad that I took the time to do this. I loved the series when I read it the first time, but I was really young so some things didn’t stick. Rereading was almost discovering all over again.
Below are all my review for the individual books (and their movies):
- Sorcerer’s Stone (#1): 5 stars
- Chamber of Secrets (#2) 3.75 stars
- Prisoner of Azkaban (#3) 5 stars
- Goblet of Fire (#4) 5 stars
- Order of the Phoenix (#5) 4 stars
- Half-Blood Prince (#6) 5 stars
- Deathly Hallows (#7) 5 stars
Being older this time around had made me change my mind on some of the books. Even still, I would definitely recommend the series just about anyone really. Especially if you have an interest in fantasy, magic, world building or are just looking for something really good.
My ratings balance out to 4.67 stars but I would definitely round it up to an even 5 😉 Harry Potter will probably always be one of the greatest series of all time.
