Day 19: Do you prefer the books or the films?
What kind of question is that? BOOKS! No offense, but if you’ve never read the books then you’re not a true Harry Potter fan and your opinion is invalid. Not sorry, but there’s way too much information left out of all of the movies to actually be able to talk about the content thoroughly.

TBH, I don’t think I’ve even seen all the movies. I think I missed the last 2. But I read all the books, as they came out. (Reading your posts this month makes me want to re-read them, but I’m so swamped with unread books I can’t even begin to re-read anything. 😦 )

I understand. Rereading them is a huge time investment but I also read them as they came out and that was sooooo long ago. And I needed a refresher before Cursed Child lol

I find to get people interested in Harry Potter i have to get them to watch the films (which I’ve found mostly disappointing) would you believe my partner has never read or seen the movies at all. I can’t imagine life without Harry Potter!
