    • of course! I didn’t realize that sooo many people didn’t know this. And it’s ironic if you think about it like the concept of race itself was literally built on racism

        EXACTLY!! So while it doesn’t bother me that people say, “Race is a social construct”, I feel like you have to follow it up with “But race is still important”. Regardless of how it was created, it exists now, and people benefit and are disadvantaged by it. It’s something we need to accept.
