This or That? #43

Hi friends! Happy Monday!

In case anyone needs a reminder or is new to the Bookmark Chronicles, here are the rules: Every Monday I will post a This or That Challenge where we will choose between two characters or scenarios. On Friday we will see which scenario/character wins. Feel free to either comment your choice below or make your own post and link it back here! :)

By no means do you have to feel obligated to do every single challenge, but I would love to hear all of your opinions! If you can only really talk about one scenario then go for it. Also, if you have any suggestions please let me know!

Which of these would you prefer?

Having the ending of a book spoiled

Never knowing what happens?

I would prefer if the ending was spoiled. The only way that I wouldn’t care about the ending is if the book was really, really boring and I DNF’d, but I do that very rarely. Even if I’m not a huge fan of a book, if it’s even just a little bit interesting then I HAVE to know how it ends. And what if it’s a really great book or series? I can’t just stop reading it because someone spoiled it.What if I never read to the end of Harry Potter and The Hunger Games. Actually someone did spoil the ending of HG but I still read it of course.

What about you? Could you live without ever knowing the endings to some of your favorites? Let me know!

Also, if you’re interesting in writing a guest post about a previous topic or have suggestions then feel free to contact me. All the info about previous posts and contacting me are here!

I’m with you. I’d rather know the ending of the book then never know. Like you, it only wouldn’t matter if the book was so bad (**cough cough** Fifty Shades of Grey) I couldn’t physically continue. So, I’d rather know the ending than never know!

This question is so tough that I had to take some time just thinking about it!!!!
And after a lkt of thought, I think I’d rather know the ending because me being curious I couldn’t live without knowing how ANY book ended even if it is something to DNF.

  4. Those are both TERRIBLE options! I think I’d rather have the ending spoiled then … I’d get over it at some point.

  5. Neither option is all that great. bit I think I’d rather have the ending spoiled. I can still have a good deal of imagination trying to figure out how the characters get to that specific ending.

I would definitely rather have the ending spoiled, because at least I will know what happens. You can’t just not know. That is torture!
