I really enjoyed Uglies even though it left me with a lot of questions. After that the whole thing kind of went downhill for me. I really disliked Tally, and not liking the main character makes it very hard to get behind a story for me. That very reason played a large roll in my rating for Extras as well. I did for the most part enjoy the writing style and the world building (although at times it didn’t make much sense).

Overall this series gets a 2.8 rating out of 5. Unfortunately I would not recommend it

I’m so disappointed you didn’t like it very much! Not in the way that I feel you have to like it, in the way I feel bad for recommending a series you disliked so much!! The other books I recommended are far better, I promise. I think you’ll like them more – and the Tenth Circle is pretty good 🙂
