How Bookmark Chronicles Began

Two months ago I started this blog as a spur of the moment impulse…….holy crap, two months! Well, I just wanted to try it really, and it was summer so I had a lot of free time. I like to read, and I like talking to other people who do too. So I made an account on WordPress and that was that! A little encouragement goes a long way, because I had one person tell me I should do it and I did 🙂

Advice for the Blogosphere

Don’t stress! If you decide to start a blog as a hobby then make sure that it stays a hobby. Hobbies are fun things that you choose to do in your spare time because you want to. It seems like a lot of people say that they feel pressure while blogging. If that is the case, then either stop worrying about what other people think, or stop blogging. You should not have to feel pressured to post 5 times a day. If you can only post once every three days then you go ahead and post once every three days. I love blogging and sometime I wish that I could post more, but I’m involved in a lot of other things so I know that won’t always happen. The great thing about our blogging community here is that everyone is super supportive and encouraging. No one here is ever going to pressure you…..which means that if you feel pressured, you’re really just putting that stress on yourself!

I say this a lot but BE YOURSELF! If you think you’re weird, so what! Be weird, because weird is better than boring 🙂
