I was tagged by the lovely Erika @ Erika in Bookventureland Thanks a million this looks like a lot of fun!
Rice: The Foundation – the book that got you reading (or blogging)
The Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket
I mentioned earlier this summer that I think this was one of the first books that I read. All I know is that I was in second or third grade. Also, a series is definitely a good way to get started because if you like the first book you have to keep going. A Series of Unfortunate Events has 13 books so that would definitely get someone to start reading regularly
Beans: The Filler – a book with a while lot of nothing happening
Paper Towns by John Green
If you read my review on it, then you know that was not impressed with Paper Towns. From other reviews I don’t think that anyone else was too happy with it either. Great characters but the story is so drawn out and ultimately pointless
Protein: The Building Block – a book quote to live by
Who doesn’t love a good Dr. Seuss quote?
Salsa: The Dance of Flavor: a book that kept you on your toes
Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult
There are so many different character perspectives that it’s hard to keep track sometimes
Corn: The Explosion of Sweetness – a memorable scene involving friendship/romance
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
You had to see that coming 🙂 I love this book. And there are so many great scenes between Lizzie and Darcy. The time when they dance together, the first time he tells her he loves her and then the second time he tells her and she accepts his proposal. I just love it ❤
Cheese: The Bond of Calcium – two characters from different books you wish could be friends
Elizabeth Bennett & Hermione Granger
Because…..why not?
Sour Cream: The Tangy Topper – the quirkiest character you’ve ever read
Sunny Baudelaire
You can’t not love Sunny. She’s the coolest toddler ever
Guacamole: The Cost of Creaminess – a book you paid too much for
Paper Towns by John Green
Yup, this again. I consider it too much money because it was disappointing
Lettuce: The Handful of Crispness – a must read recommendation
My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult
Tabasco – The Kick to the Face – your favorite fight/action sequence
I don’t have an answer for this one but the fight scene in Breaking Dawn Part 2 was pretty cool even though it didn’t happen in the book
Alright, that’s it. I’m not tagging anyone for this but if you want to do it then you can say I tagged you 😛
HAHH this post actually makes me hungry ❤ Nice post! -Trang

Thank you for the tag!
A Series of Unfortunate of Events is probably one of the books that really got me into reading as well! I may just re-read it again since it’s been so long.
And yes to Elizabeth and Hermione being best friends. Both intelligent, pretty, and very strong willed. I can totally see them being best friends, too! And oh Sunny…She’s gotta be my favorite Baudelaire. She is definitely quirky. 🙂

Oh my goodness that sounds so exciting! I hope it pulls through. I would love to watch since the film adaptation was such a huge disappointment!

I didn’t even watch it until a month ago and it was a complete waste of time
